1. Documentary Film Crew Member

The jobs needed to make a non-fiction film are open to those interested in real-world adventure with the STEM skills required. A college degree is not required for this career in the entertainment industry, but students interested in learning all that they can about documentaries have several options. A four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in film making/producing can be earned at the New York Film Academy, or a six-month course at the Documentary Center at George Washington University teaches the basics of production. Companies hire all types of film crew members and salaries range from $10 per hour to $70,000 per year, depending on the entertainment industry job and the project.
